there are quite a few interesting cameos by bono in the article. bono spends about 15 percent of his time on elevation partners, this article says. he met roger through the grateful dead. (they discussed partnering on a deal with the dead that would establish a broad platform to allow artists to sell directly to fans. plan did not materialize.) roger wants to be a rock star. bono thinks roger's hair is too long.
