lookin' for a sound that's gonna drown out the world

In other news, the Edge is on fire.
i like the sentence in there that says u2 and bono have spent the past few months in an african recording studio. riiiight.
I now have 18 articles on my Google news home page with the title "U2 to release trance album."
Definitely amusing.Bands always say these kinds of things before releasing a new album. I'd be surprised if the album turns out to be exactly like he described - chances are a couple of tracks will fit the description and the rest will be wholesome U2. I could be wrong, though.
You never know what to believe! I was in Dublin in November and talked to Adam. I asked him how the album was going and he sighed, and kind of looked like he was thinking: "Oh no, here we go, this is a sore point." and he actually said: "Well, it's not really started yet." And then, later, an hour late for work, Bono turns up, straight from the airport, back from Cork where he had been talking about world hunger. And you kind of think... God love this man and the work he does, but how on earth are this band ever going to get anything out before the next millennium? The only "trance" is the one they are in!!!
