I'm pretty underwhelmed by both tunes, actually. What do you think C?
The Editors tune sounds like Embrace, doesn't it? It's ok... a bit too "big" ala Snow Patrol. Hope the rest of the album will be better. I think it will be, as last time I saw them live the played some new stuff, and I really liked it.
As for the Interpol tune. Hmmm, it's ok. Definitely not a departure from their previous albums...
Anyway, my 2 cents... hope all is well!

ps - steve, i am sure this was implied in your comment, but jacknife lee, aka mr. snow patrol and the worst u2 producer EVER also produced that editors album. i hate that faux bombast thing he specializes in. they're quite good enough at real bombast already. now he's going to do it to r.e.m. next.
