...one lucky audience member actually had the guts to get up on stage, position himself behind the edge's keyboard setup, and actually lead the band through an unexpected and impromptu rendition of the rarely played "who's gonna ride your white (sic!!!) horses." at song's end, he gleefully ran down the stage right ramp and leapt for joy back into the crowd....

aaaah, white horses. (chuckle).

u2 included the make poverty history version of rockin in the free world during the encore with members of pearl jam. green day's billie joe armstrong also came on stage during the encore for the saints are coming. pearl jam opened with a short set of a dozen songs. [u2 & pj setlists here]
