Made it up to see them last night(from Kyushu), completely amazing, especially when they did vertigo as the last song, it was that same explosive feeling relived when they first did vertigo at the very beginning of the concert.
At that point the crowd was really flaming, though I must say at the same time, it was a very tame crowd - the encore`s were really, well, rather nonexistant, I felt so anyway, five years ago at the elevation tour in calgary the crowd was much better. Here people were jst waiting(?).
I was up in the reserved seats, 200 level, which really wasn`t that far off; not living in Tokyo making it a bad idea to go for floor seats. It was awesome, I was screaming like a girl on hysteria. Some songs I was looking forward to, like Desire and Crumbs, neither of which appeared (though the former they did on the second night in Japan).
Love your blog, by the way;)
I hit Honolulu Saturday night. Looking forward to the show on the 9th. The Zootopians are everywhere. All I have to do is wear one of my U2 t-shirts and I run into people from all over the world here to see the show. Had beers with a guy named Diego from Italy, who's staying in the same hotel as me.
Daily updates on my blog. Ran into another Canadian today who met Eddie Vedder on Waikiki Beach. I'll be starting my U2 stalking mission soon.
5 more sleeps.
OMG. you have both made me suitably jealous.
