this place is whack
i've been on another planet this week. it started last sunday with a flaming lips concert. which was wild, by the way. wayne coyne, in between talking more than any singer ever, made us all shoot laser pointers at each other. at one point, he held up a mirror and had all of us shooting lasers at him, reflecting back on to us.

he was talking about being interactive, optimistic, transcendental, transporting ourselves. and i'm pretty certain that the lasers actually did shoot back directly at me and that they sent me spinning into another dimension. seriously. and all i can tell you is this place is whack. bono lives here, too, by the way. with edge. and larry. and adam. we all ran into each other just a few days ago. i did mention that, right? (the whole story will come this weekend. i promise. once i figure out how to get back to earth.)
ps - the studio version of the saints are coming is streaming on aol.

You saw the Flaming Lips?!?! I just recently got into them and really need them to come to my neck of the country.
i think nyc was the last stop of their tour. it was definitely a cool show even though i am not crazy about all of their music. it was quite an entertaining concert experience.
hey if you want some free Kasabian vinyl I've got a contest up.
