apparently, after signing their names on a piece of paper for me on tuesday (more on that very soon), my new best friends bono & edge celebrated by going to a movie premiere. avec scorsese. and then they went to marquee. without. even. inviting. me.

scorsese's latest hibernian crime saga features one choice scene in which matt damon's character tells his psychiatrist girlfriend, "freud said the irish were the only people impervious to psychoanalysis."
we asked bono, who saw the movie [the departed] with his u2 bandmates, whether he agreed with sigmund's theory.
"in a movie that's all about lies," said the rocker, "that is not one of them."

Hmmm. Bono's homage to Marlon Brando knows no end. It's a Scorsese film so better dress up like a mafia don. I wonder if Edge was shaking his head.
