not a success, so much
i spent part of today trying to find the right dress to wear to a wedding i have to go to next saturday. yeah, um, that was not a success, so much. i am not good at buying fancy things. (gratuitous bono photo : all dressed up).
yesterday i got an email from some proper authorities asking me to stop hosting the keane tracks iam was hosting. they were live versions of the songs, ripped off an fm broadcast, so i did not think that would cause trouble. but apparently i was wrong.
so, just to recap : in the space of this past week, keane's singer revealed his secret desire to kill bono and keane's lawyers sent me a notice asking me not to share their music. clearly keane and i were not meant to be friends.
so that's that, i guess.

i am sort of dreading the day (inevitable?) when someone asks me to stop hosting some mp3. were they all scary about it?
and i, too, today, was trying to decide what i am going to do about a friend's upcoming wedding. ah, dresses, dresses. doesn't NYC have an H&M and aren't they cheap and sometimes cute? i wouldn't know. :(
i hate and despise keane, but with this move, they have ensured that, if i ever should decide that i want to hear their music, i will be sure to either download it for free, or from some russian mp3 site.

I'd never heard of Keane until I started reading your blog. I'm not a fan but at least I know who they are now. I know who not to spend my money on.

you are right, arden. bono in drag is definitely not the look i'm going for. i think he admitted he looked like barbara bush when he put that dress on. heather's h&m idea is on my list!
