hometown man

our man the edge was in dublin's temple bar this weekend helping to unveil a bronze guitar statue in honor of the late irish bluesman rory gallagher.

read the u2.com story

rory was not a singer i'd really be inclined to listen to, and not the best songwriter, but he was kind of a ridiculously talented guitarist. unique and inventive, particularly on his live stuff.

finally, i'd have to say that things like this really should not be made available to people like me :

bono probability positioning system

(nice find, arden!)

happy monday..........

Nice pic of the edge.

what the hell is that bono positioning system all about? very scary. i think the scariest part for me is the fact that the google logo at the top has bono's name underneath. i don't know why that's scary, but it is. like somehow the man's importance warrants his own google logo. wtf. haha.

i think we should start a campaign to get bono a national holiday. it could work.
