gary lightbody's vocal chords?

snow patrol has had to cancel some shows this week due to lead singer gary lightbody's throat problems. he has polyps on his vocal chords. and just in case you don't believe that story, um, yeah, gary has posted photographic evidence on the band's web site. it's pretty nasty : gross pic of gary's vocal chords.

i only sort of believe that is actually a pic of vocal chords.
