there is another new u2 espn world cup promo up on the soccernet site: view all four espn u2 world cup promos here.
so now there are 2 bono world cup promos, one adam promo, one edge promo. and zero larry mullen, jr. "actual footie fan" promos. lawrence, what up? we know you pretend to be shy, but seriously, dude. come on! you are the only member of u2 who actually cares that ireland did not make the world cup. i don't get it. maybe espn said only short haired dudes could do the promos. or maybe larry was busy at home crocheting pink sweaters for his pet chihuahua. just maybe.
finally, from stella to conde: bono the editor's story assignments.
oh, and the new walkmen album leaked. go here or here for a new tune. i like the walkmen. they are pretty good to watch live. and there is something all messy and not polished about their stuff, which is not bad. that's all.

Yay! After many failed attempts, my computer finally agreed to play those World Cup clips. I think we can pin my luck on the link coming from your blog. ;-)
i think it worked for you because bono actually set that link up himself specifically for you, since you are old friends and all that.....
what does the edge says on his spot?
edge's spot is lighthearted. he talks about how loads of people skip work during the world cup, but nobody has to take a sick day or a vacation day because the boss is skipping work, too. everybody misses work to watch the games, basically.
