i'm taking the day off from work today. woot woot! me and meggie g. are gonna party like it's payday. yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. (or something to that effect).

here's another one from the upcoming yeah yeah yeahs release show your bones. i love every track on this new cd. i know some people are worried they are getting all polished and poised to be mega popular, but, really, who cares? the songs sound gooooood.

so last night an argentinian gambling web site randomly showed a live video feed of u2's concert in argentina. this was the setlist.

before playing the second encore, bono explained that he and larry both missed their mothers very much but that they were macho irishmen, so they were allowed to admit it. then bono and edge played mothers of the disappeared on a tiny charango that the president of chile had given them. freaktastically mindblowing.
